ABOUT
GINA

Hi there!

I’m Gina De La Pena, and my journey into the world of building began long before I ever stepped into a sales role. Growing up, I spent countless summers and after-school hours with my dad, a general contractor who specialized in custom homes during the '80s and '90s. Although he didn’t have sons, he had my sisters and me, and we quickly became his little crew. While most kids were out playing, we were mixing cement, hammering nails, and getting firsthand experience in what it takes to build something from the ground up.

While I ultimately went into sales (mainly for the sake of my nails!), my love for the building process never left. The construction industry has always intrigued me—not just the act of building itself, but how the tools and technology have evolved over time. It’s amazing how far we’ve come, and I’ve always been fascinated by the constant advancements that shape the way we build.

In my work as a sales consultant for sheds and garages, I had the privilege of meeting Dee and Steve Bates, and it was through them that I was introduced to Evo-Fuzion’s line of innovative building materials. After touring their facility, I couldn’t help but reflect on how other countries have utilized similar building techniques in areas frequently ravaged by hurricanes and earthquakes. Why weren’t we using these methods here? That was the question that excited me about bringing Laki Technologies’ sustainable and resilient buildings to Southern Utah, Nevada, and Arizona.

I believe we’re on the brink of a revolution in construction. These materials are the future of building—fire-resistant, flood-resistant, energy-efficient, and low-emission. In fact, they’re some of the best materials on the planet when it comes to withstanding natural disasters. But the impact isn’t just limited to resilience—it’s also about sustainability. Did you know that a 2,500-square-foot space made from these materials could feed the West Coast? With rising food costs due to climate-related disasters, the potential for growing food in these buildings could truly change the game for families facing these challenges.

My mission is to help bring this vision to life by offering building solutions that not only stand the test of time but also help future-proof our communities. Whether you’re looking for a sustainable home, a shed, or a facility that can withstand the forces of nature, I’m here to help you take that step. I’m passionate about providing solutions that not only serve today’s needs but also pave the way for a better, more resilient future. Let’s build a better tomorrow, together.

Feel free to reach out to me—let’s discuss how Evo-Fuzion can make a difference in your world!
